Product Description
Air activated hand warmers

Product Description
Designed for skiers, hunters, fishermen, golfers, or anyone who works or plays in the cold for long hours, the Heatmax HotHands-2 Hand Warmers are air-activated and will provide up to 10 hours of soothing warmth inside gloves, pockets or wherever you feel a chill. All Heatmax warmers are made of natural materials, including iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal, and wood fiber. When exposed to air, these materials react together to produce heat through an extremely fast oxidation (or rusting) process. Users should allow 10 to 20 minutes for the warmers to reach their optimal temperatures.

2 out of 5 stars 10 Hours of Heat?   March 4, 2010
Cogman (boulder, co)
For some reason I do not seem to get anywhere close to 10 hours of heat. I have been using these for my gloves for skiing. Often they seem to go dead within four hours. They also do not seem to get as warm as many hand warmers I have used.

4 out of 5 stars Works great, but not hot enough   March 2, 2010
Daniel Levitt
These are great, but tend to cool down too fast. When skiing or snowboarding it is very cold outside, and taking off the glove to "refresh" (shake and expose to air) the warmer isn't easy. Moreover, this "refreshing" doesn't keep it warm for long enough. I think that these warmers are a must-have when skiing or boarding, and should be in everyone's gloves, but note that although your hands won't be cold, they also won't be warm. Cheers.

Not a bad product but not as good as Grabber brand. These do not get as warm nor last as long as Grabber products. For the price they are fine for short period of use. If you want/need warmers that last for more than three hours this should not be your choice.

1 out of 5 stars They don't work!   February 18, 2010

I have been using handwarmers for years while skiing. I decided to switch to this cheaper brand. DON'T! They do not work. I called the company-they shipped me a new box-they don't work either! Don't waste your $!

5 out of 5 stars Heat Max Hot Hands   February 17, 2010

I have cold hands and feet all the time. I bought some of these hot pads and they are great. When watching TV in the evening I put one of the hot pads between my sock and slipper and my feet are toasty warm. They are warm enough in the morning to put in my pocket to keep my hands warm until it warms up.
